If you are someone into numerology, then you would know that this year is the Universal Year 8.
How you get this is adding the digits of the year together until it makes a single digit, so in this case, 2+0+2+4= 8.
I have a pretty good feeling that this year is going to showcase a lot of different changes in everyone’s lives. While I was channeling into my tarot readings, I was inspired to talk about what possible areas might be affected in your life.
So, here is what the year 2024 has in stored for you!

If you are familiar with angel numbers, you might find that eights are greatly associated with money, abundance, and financial success.

For me, eights run very deeply into my subconscious when I got the confirmation of being on the right path career wise.
I am SO excited to see what this year will have in store for me financially.
If you are someone who is working towards a career, looking for a job, trying to get a promotion, or maybe you’re running a business and are working on getting it to a certain level, then this year may serve you greatly. You might find yourself finding some success in these areas.
Money can also come in other forms than just a job or career, so it’s also possible to receive abundance in the form of an inheritance, as a gift, or through other people in your life such as your partner.
So, for any stay-at-home parents/spouses out there, this applies to you also!
On the shadow side, if you are someone who has a poor money mindset or doesn’t have a great grasp of your finances, you might find yourself struggling. It’s important to evaluate your limiting beliefs on money and get to the bottom of why you aren’t receiving financial success.
Like I always say, our subconscious perceives our reality.
It’s important to get to the root cause of where your money beliefs stem from.

Since the number 8 is ruled by the planet Saturn, Saturn is all about having discipline and putting in the work, so if you have been doing just that, then you might find 2024 rewarding by you reaching your achievements.
So, if you have been working towards a goal in mind, I highly encourage you to keep it up and reeeally keep focused on it throughout this year.
The only shadow side of this, that I can think of, is the feeling of dissatisfaction with your life if you are someone who hasn’t been putting in the effort towards your goals.
You may need to re-evaluate what it is you want in life and make a better, structured plan of how to get there.
Although it is true that when it comes to manifestation, we never know the how of getting there, but when it comes to reaching any goal, you have to work your way up regardless.
This can look like forming better habits for yourself, having a plan in place, taking accountability for yourself, and getting real clear on your desires.

One of my personal favorite themes of this year is that the planet Saturn also deals with karmic lessons.
So, as souls living a human experience, we all come here to overcome some kind of karmic lesson. Some may have more to learn than others, but regardless, we all have something to learn throughout our journeys.
If you are curious on what it may be, you may find this in your natal chart (it’s important to know your birth time so keep this in mind).
You’ll be looking at what house Saturn falls under and what zodiac sign you will experience the energy in.
For people who are in their Saturn return (AKA literally me right now), you will be experiencing what it’s like to go through your Saturn return, which usually happens between the ages of 27-31.
So, if you are in that age bracket, you are most likely going through your Saturn return. This is going to be especially important for you to pay attention which house Saturn is in.
Now, the theme of karma this year makes sense when you really want to think about it. When you think of karma, you hear terms like “you reap what you sow” or “what comes around goes around”.
I feel like this is where the look of the number 8 comes from, because when you think about it, when you draw the number 8, it literally goes around and comes around.
So, I would encourage you to really look at what kind of energy and behavior you have been putting out throughout the years.
If you are someone who has really invested in your personal development, your relationships, your work, and have been doing the inner work, you might find yourself rewarded with some good *ss karma.
Observe how you treat people.
Have you been gossipy?
Negative? Crude? Bitter?
How have you been living your life?
Are you always complaining? Pessimistic?
I’d be careful with this state of mindset, because people who have been putting out this kind of energy are really going to get hit with a reality check this year.
It’s part of the Universal Laws, known as the Law of Cause and Effect.
So, be aware of what you have been putting out. And pay attention to what karmic lesson you were here to learn.
If you choose not to learn the lesson, then be aware of the consequences.
The number 8 is also represented as balance and harmony.
Some people this year might find that everything is falling into place exactly as it should.
Things might just come to you with ease.
You might find the perfect work-life balance. Your relationships are beautiful and harmonious, and sometimes, people might invest more into their spirituality for better harmony in mind, body, and spirit.
It’s a beautiful energy to be in, as it just feels right.
The shadow side of this pertains to those who want to avoid change.
If you find your life in disarray pertaining to your relationships, work, home, or in other areas of life, it’s important to note the cause of this.
Ask your questions like: “Does this relationship fulfill me? Is everything I want in a partner in the person I’m with right now? Is this person willing to evolve and grow with me?”
Are you satisfied with the work you are doing?
Do you have any limiting beliefs around yourself?
Sometimes, when things aren’t going the way we want, it’s almost like the Universe is telling us that we need to pivot and go in a different direction.
After all, rejection is a way of protection.
So, remember, just because something doesn’t work out, doesn’t actually mean it’s not meant for you.
If a certain lifestyle has ever occurred to you, it just means that it’s a possibility for you as well.
