Have you ever wondered why things around you may not be working out anymore?
Do things feel boring, stagnant, unfulfilling now, even if it wasn’t like that before?
Here’s the thing: you may be going through a breakthrough in your life.
And not in a way where it feels like you’re losing everything, but where you are actually evolving.
Nowadays, people are taking their sweet *ss time making a change in their life.
And the truth is: the longer it takes for you to make those changes in your life, the harder the lessons, the harder life gets, and the bigger the consequences.
People need to realize when they are outgrowing their old life and need to step into a timeline that they are living in alignment.
“But Carol, what if I’m not sure whether I’m outgrowing my life?”
Good question, glad you asked…
Here are signs you are outgrowing your old life, so that you aren’t wasting any more time with the things that no longer serve you!
Imagine these scenarios: you wake up and you just don’t care about the day ahead of you. You feel bored, unenthused, and dissatisfied with the day before it has even started.
Now, of course, not every day will probably be exciting since we all have responsibilities and other priorities to take care of.
But if you’ve been going years without feeling like you can look forward to anything, you may be outgrowing your old ways.
Most people see this as “just the way life is”, but it really doesn’t have to be.
When you are living a life that you love and feel fulfilled in, it feels exciting, passionate, and like you are ready to get the day started with a shot of energy that you didn’t have to get from a cup of coffee.
Unfortunately, too many people are taking this feeling and just “living with it”, but just because they are doing that doesn’t mean you have to.
OOF.
This stings a lot for those close relationships.
If you’re finding yourself having a fall out with multiple people in your life, it can mean two things.
One, you’re the problem.
Or two, you’re not in alignment with those types of people anymore.
Even on an energetic level, we are an energetic match to attracting and being with certain types of people in our life.
That means that the people we are having to deal with are teaching us a lesson that we need to grow, aka, leaving behind our old ways of doing things.
If you find yourself having trouble with your parents, your co-workers, your friendships, or even your lover, you may be called to look inwards on what in your life needs to improve.
You may be needing to look inwards on what kind of career you want to pursue, to leave or fix a relationship you are in, or evaluate your friendships on whether these types of people are worth your time or not.
Yes, I know.
We all don’t like to be triggered. It hurts our fragile ego.
Look, here’s the tea on triggers: triggers are good because they show us the parts of us that needs healing.
Therefore, if you are getting triggered by what others have or are being, consider this a good thing.
That means that the things you are triggered by are in energetic alignment with you getting what it is others have or are being.
Now, here’s the trick: the reason why people stay triggered and never actually obtain these desires they have is because of the lack of action.
And I’m not talking about just the physical action, but the mental gymnastic they have to get through in order to get behind these desires.
Basically, if you truly don’t believe in yourself, you aren’t going to get it.
Point. Blank. Simple.
So, being triggered can, of course, help you realize what things you need to outgrow in your old life, but also what parts of you need healing in your belief system.
Now, for anyone who isn’t super familiar with intuition, I’ve talked about intuition in many other blog posts that you can check out.
I won’t get super into detailed with it here.
But, the point I want to make is that one of the signs that you are outgrowing your old life is that you are noticing your intuition getting louder.
You may be getting more nudges to do something, sometimes it can be an inner voice calling you to take action on something, or some kind of inner knowing that you need to shift gears in your life.
This isn’t those times where you feel like you are just “going crazy”.
You are actually been led to do things differently.
Like I’ve said before, I have explained intuition many times from learning how to listen to your intuition, ways that our intuition can come up, etc.

Another sign you are outgrowing your life, yourself, and the things around you is seeing how your old ways are no longer serving you or working for you anymore.
It doesn’t have to be as dramatic as it sounds.
This could be how you emotionally handle things, how you work relationships with your lover, friends, or family, how you treat yourself, your body, or your mind, and the list can go on.
This can be a sign to either having to do things differently completely or that it’s time for you to level up and change your ways to match a higher, more aligned way of being.
Think of it from an outside perspective: have you ever just been fed up with someone’s behavior?
This could be an indicator that the person’s old ways of being or doing things are no longer in alignment for them and they are being shown to make the change.
This happens to all of us!
It’s a great indicator that we are needing to drop certain habits, behaviors, or old ways of thinking in order to step into a new way of living!
