6 Tips On How To Manifest Your Dream Body

For as long as I’ve been blogging, I’ve held off on making a post on how to manifest your dream body because I don’t ever want to put out there that you need to have certain dietary preferences and that you need to stick with one form of exercise, even if you truly aren’t into it.

I don’t ever want to come off as my way is the only way because what worked for me may not be for everyone else.

However, what I can say is that every fitness journey comes with the same mindset and that’s what I really wanted to talk about in this post.

I’m basically going to tell you a little bit about my journey on how I have manifested my dream body after failing countless times from dieting and having a low self-esteem with my body over the majority of my life. I want to talk to you on how I have overcome and broke generational health problems within my family because after all, breaking any cycle comes from within you.

I will be telling you tips on what actually worked and the proof behind it using my own manifestation methods.

So, let’s start with my story

Health has become a very important part of my life, especially when I grew up with body image issues. I’ve also come from generational health problems where many people in my family experience health problems (even at a young age).

You know when kids in high school would be getting ready in the bathrooms and check themselves out in the mirror before class?

Yeah, that was never me.

In fact, I avoided the mirror like the plague.

After deciding not to go to college, I found myself working a regular minimal wage job and after some time, I’ve found myself gaining more and more weight over the years. It got to the point where my knees were always sore and I would get winded just walking up the stairs in my mother’s home.

Talk about embarrassing.

And my body really wasn’t strong enough, nor meant to carry on that much weight. It affected my confidence and self-esteem so much that I remember always wearing black or darker colors to hide my figure.

So, to make a long story shorter, although my personal development journey mainly started in 2018, I was subconsciously on my journey probably since a year after high school, which I graduated in 2014 (though I wasn’t aware of manifestation at all back then. Hence why I say “subconsciously”).

Even putting in the intention of wanting to go to the gym and feel better about my body allowed me to find ways to do that with the little money I had back in those days. I do believe this allowed the Universe to work its magic on me by giving me ideas to do accomplish my body goals.

I have tried all kinds of ways to diet, from counting calories, going vegan, and even taking diet pills, and none of them worked. I don’t remember working out at the time.

If I remember correctly, I did start using my boyfriend’s (now husband’s) Xbox that he had and I would play Kinex Sports in order to move my body more, but I don’t think that came till a few years after I put the intention to manifest my dream body.

Eventually, I would save weightlifting workouts on my Pinterest board and work on those workouts with the weights I bought from Walmart (still have them by the way). I practiced my form and basically was working out in my apartment living room when my love and I finally got our apartment.

And if anyone says you can never find results at home, I’d like to encourage any of you readers out there that my results eventually started to pay off, even with my Walmart weights!

As time went on, my love bought us a gym membership after watching my fitness journey from the very start. That was where I found my love for weightlifting even more and it has been a part of my life even to this day!

So now let’s talk about how I was able to manifest my dream body. I figured it would be nice to show you some proof of my own when it comes to my fitness journey because I always like to make sure that I can walk my walk!

I always tell people this all the time, that if you have a specific goal in mind, listen to the people who actually did the work and not the people who are all talk.

Anyways, here are my tips on how to manifest your dream body!

1. Use the power of visualization

I do this method still to this day, even when I want to look a certain way to how I lift at the gym and how much I can lift.

Visualization has been proven to help people reach their goals. You will hear even the most successful personal growth influencer talk about how powerful visualization is, from Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Mel Robbins, and so many more people say this!

So, ask yourself what do you want your body to look like? Are you just trying to be slimmer? More toned? Muscular? Do you want abs or a fat ass?

Take time out of your day to sit down and visualize how you want your dream body to look like. Heck, you can even just daydream about it all day if you want!

I have put how I want to look on my vision board, through the power of scripting which is basically describing your goals in present tense, and just simply meditating on it has worked very well for me!

Find a manifestation method that works for you! What’s most important is to put the intention to your Higher Power that this is something you really want!

Your only job is to follow the inspired actions that pop up to you.

I have plenty of ways to manifest in the manifestation category on my blog that can help you with your specific goals! The clearer and more detailed you get, the better!

2. Use social media to inspire you!

When I started my fitness journey, I wiped out anyone on my social media that did not serve any purpose to me and followed mainly people into fitness. I didn’t have anyone in my real life that was into fitness, so I had to use social media to inspire me to reach my goals.

Jim Rohn, a motivational speaker, author, and entrepreneur, has said that “we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with”.

Now, this concept can vary person to person, since even I don’t have anyone in my life (besides my husband now) who is into fitness and still go at it to this day, but when we are around people who have the same goals as us, I can see why its easier to achieve your goals.

If you use social media just right, you can use it specifically for fitness and follow fitness influencers that resonate with you. I mainly use Instagram, but have also been getting into Tiktok (more specifically, gymtiktok).

This method is actually where I found some bomb fitness programs to invest in and found great workouts posted online for free that I could try out at the gym to really expand on my fitness goals!

So instead of following people from high school, family members, or people you just couldn’t give a shit about, try to follow people who do matter, especially when you are manifesting your dream body.

3. Start small and work your way up!

Instead of straight up signing up for a gym membership that you may or may not use, try to start small and work your way up.

Like I’ve mentioned in my story, I didn’t have money for a gym membership, so what I did was use what I did have and started small.

Instead of a gym membership, I bought some cheap weights and started working out from home.

I knew that would be an easier start than to jump into a place that was very unfamiliar and intimidating to me.

Plus, it can be easier for you to start off since you are in the comfort of your own home!

I also don’t recommend trying to work out five days right off the bat if you are new to working out. Try a few days a week and work your way up from there so your body gets used to it!

4. Double down on any limiting beliefs

So, I didn’t use this specific method back when I was achieving my dream body, but I wish I did because honestly, it probably would have taken me waaay less time than years for me to get what I want.

So, I’m gonna share you this tip in hopes it doesn’t take you as long as it did with me.

When you are going after any big goals, you’re probably going to come up with some limiting beliefs in the way, which stem from “not being enough” or “not worthy enough” attitude.

When these limiting beliefs (aka, lies) come up while you are going after your goals, I’m going to need you to double down on any limiting beliefs that pop up.

How do you do this?

I do have a blog post about this, but let me give you a few quick ways that you can do this. Do EFT (emotional freedom technique), hypnosis (sleep hypnosis is great when you don’t have enough time in the day. Plus, it helps you sleep better anyways! Win win!), breathwork, pretty much anything that can calm your nervous system down because all limiting beliefs are doing is bringing tension to your nervous system.

If I remember for myself, I believe even talking to someone you are close with and who supports you can help you stay on track towards your goals (so my husband for example).

Whichever way you choose to use, make sure to find the root cause of what is stopping you from manifesting your dream body!

5. Be open-minded to many possibilities

Like I’ve mentioned before, I have done so many different ways of dieting and even exercises. I also forgot to mention I have done cardio where I just ran on the treadmill, I have done HIIT cardio, and low weight high rep workouts.

If I had closed my mind to just one way of doing something, it would have taken much longer for me to manifest my dream body, but because I wasn’t afraid of trying out new things, I found something that worked for me.

We often get into our own heads that there is only one way to achieve something when manifestation is never like that. Our Higher Power never has just one linear way to help us with our manifestations. Otherwise, we would know the how, the ups and downs, and the twists and turns.

Try not to be close-minded when it comes to your fitness goals and don’t be afraid to try new things even if it’s just out of curiosity. There is no such thing as failure, but there is such thing as redirection.

After all, when I saw all these fitness influencers lift heavy weights, I never thought I would be into it because I didn’t want to look “bulky” or “muscular”, however, out of curiosity, I did it because I had nothing to lose anyways.

In the end, heavy lifting made me feel powerful and I ended up absolutely loving how toned my body looked.

So, if something catches your interest, I encourage you to go forward and to try that new thing because you never know where it will take you.

6. Find gratitude in the small things

Sometimes when we feel gratitude in the little things in life, especially manifesting your dream body, you find a deeper meaning on why you want that manifestation.

Like I’ve said before, I have many family members, both older and younger than me, who have massive health problems. I became one of the few who took control of my health.

Some of my family members can’t even do regular activities.

In fact, this year, I had one of them have a stroke and is re-learning to walk again.

I don’t think we really count our blessings in the small things, especially if we are blessed with a healthy body.

So instead of “Ugh, I have to go to the gym” tell yourself “I get to go to the gym”.

Instead of “I don’t want to work out” tell yourself “I get to work out”.

Instead of “I have to eat healthy today” say to yourself “I get a choice to eat healthy today”.

Look at it from a different perspective. There are people who are out there who wish they could do what you are doing right now.

Find a deeper meaning to why you want your dream body and let that be your motivator.

Is it because you want to live a long life?

Is it simply because you want to feel confident finally and you grew tired of feeling like shit?

Do you want to be able to keep up with your kids or even future grandkids as you get older?

Find gratitude in the small things and dig into the deeper meanings on why you want to manifest your dream body.

  1. Thanks for sharing this post! I feel like I had achieved my desired body… only recently to let it go. I don’t know what’s going on with me emotionally that put me off, but I’m getting back on track. This was inspiring. I appreciate your vulnerability to share.

    1. Oh I most definitely know that feeling!

I fell off track maaaany times throughout my fitness journey, but I found that as long as I kept coming back and trying again, I eventually got to my goals. It’s always the people who never give up and keep trying that always get what they want. Don’t worry, you’ll for sure get to your goal, especially when you were able to do it before, you’ll be able to do it again!

      Thank you so much! <3
